ANSWER: 1. First things first. If anything on the web (including our player) doesn't work on the first try, refresh your browser by hitting 'F5' on your keyboard.
Next, you may not have the latest versions of the critical software needed to access the online media. Always check your system for the latest updates vailable for Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player.

If, after making these changes, you still cannot access the feed, delete the cache files in your browser. Here are instructions for doing this in Internet Explorer and Firefox.
Internet Explorer: a.Open Internet Explorer, click on the 'Tools' menu and select 'Internet Options.' b.Click the button 'Delete Files.' c.Hit 'OK.'
*To avoid this in the future, follow these steps.* a.Open Internet Explorer, click on the 'Tools' menu and select 'Internet Options.' b.Click the 'Settings' button in the 'Temporary Internet Files' section. c.Choose 'Every visit to the page' d.Hit 'OK.' e.Hit 'F5' to reload the player.
Firefox a.Open Firefox, click on the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options.' b.Select the 'Privacy' category. c.Click the 'Clear' button in the 'Cache' sub-category. d.Hit 'OK.' and close the 'Options' window to finish up. e.Now reload the player.
2. Check all of the suggestions below:
a. Please make sure and use only Internet Explorer to access the online player. If you use an AOL browser, a browser with frames like Hotmail, or any other specialized/altered browser, you may not be able to get the online player to work properly. Just make sure and open a new window of Internet Explorer before you try to open the player and/or website.
b. Make sure you don't have a pop-up blocker on your system, it will prevent the login screen and player from opening. If you do have a pop-up blocker on your system, either temporarily disable it or hold down the "ctrl" key while clicking to open the login screen or player. If the "ctrl" key doesn't work, consult the directions found in your pop-up blocker "read me" file. Make sure you don't have a FunWebProducts application installed on your system. It will prevent your player from working.
c. Check your internet connection speed, it might be extremely slow at the time you tried to access the player. This can cause the media to "never" play (actually, it's constantly buffering). If you are using a dial-up connection (modem), you will usually get varying connection speeds. Often, the speed is much slower than your 28k or 56k modem is capable of producing. We recommend calling your 'isp' (internet service provider) to inquire about alternate dial-in numbers. Hopefully, they will have several numbers with which to get a better connect speed.
3. If you are getting login errors, your account may not been activated. Please check your email settings and your SPAM mail box. You should have received a confirmation email with an activation link.
4. Please do not use your confirmation e-mail to return to the player. If you are having trouble accessing the player, you can always go to the main web site and log in from there. Just remember to enter in your original email and password.

8. Are you behind a firewall, or have the settings been modified?
a. Are you at work? Check with your IT/IS staff to see if they are blocking anything from http://players.eonstreams.com.
b. Are you at home? Check the firewall settings and enter 'http://players.eonstreams.com' as a safe zone/site.
Some firewall applications ask for a port number to allow. Enter port 80 to allow our streaming service to feed through. If the option is available, make sure that streaming media is allowed to pass through the firewall. Also make sure that Windows Media Player is listed as a safe application.
If you are using 3rd party firewall/security software and require further configuration assistance, check the help feature for instructions on how to allow specific traffic sources/types through. Some individuals have performed updates and found that the Windows firewall was activated in the process.
9. Check the settings of your pop-up blocker
Do you have any pop-up blocking software running? If so, check to make sure it is not set to block 'http://players.eonstreams.com.' Firefox was updated several weeks ago and some end-users have had problems with their pop-up blocking settings being altered and the streams not playing correctly.
10. Linux Requirements
a. You need Firefox to listen to the player. Here's the link. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

If VLC doesn't work properly for you, try MPlayer. You can download it here. http://www.mplayerhq.hu/homepage/design7/dload.html Again, follow the link and instructions for the appropriate version of Linux that you are running.
A third option is the Kaffeine Player. Click here. Once again, just follow the link and instructions for the appropriate version of Linux that you are running.
