Many of us know someone who has been affected by breast cancer. What if that someone is your biological sister? Have you wondered why she was diagnosed with the disease? Join the Sister Study to participate in groundbreaking research, designed to identify causes of breast cancer that might someday lead to strategies for preventing the disease in future generations.
The largest study of its kind, the Sister Study is made up of women from all over the United States and Puerto Rico, whose sister had breast cancer, but they have never had breast cancer themselves.

 |
Many women who have joined the Sister Study talk about feeling helpless while their sister battled breast cancer, and they want to do more. These women have felt empowered to truly make a difference in fighting breast cancer by participating in the Sister Study.
