The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. Refunds will be calculated as a percentage of your total
payments after deducting the deposit. For example, if
you
paid $6,000 for double occupancy and you cancel before
November 30, 2009, you will receive a refund of $3,600.
This was
calculated as follows. Total payments of $6,000 minus $2,000
($1,000 deposit per person) equal $4,000. Ninety percent
of
$4,000 equals $3,600.

AFTER MARCH 31, 2010, CABINS NOT PAID IN FULL MAY BE SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION AND FORFEITURE OF ALL MONIES PAID.
Installment payments are allowed as a courtesy to our guests. Failure to make payments as agreed may result in cancellation of your cabin and forfeiture of all monies paid.
Installment payments are allowed as a courtesy to our guests. When a guest registers for the cruise and pays the initial deposit, they are provided with an installment agreement. Failure to honor that agreement and make payments as agreed may result in cancellation of your cabin and forfeiture of all monies paid. A late fee of $50 will be assessed every time a guests reaches the 60 day past due status. In addition, once payments are 60 days past due, the Foundation reserves the right to cancel the cabin. The deposit will be forfeited and any remaining amounts paid will be refunded in accordance with the above cancellation policy. If a payment has not been made on an account in 60 days, the cabin will be forfeited and resold and the cancellation policy will apply. All cabins not paid in full by the announced due date will be subject to forfeiture of all monies paid.
There will be a $35 fee assessed for all return checks. The fee must be paid within 10 days of assessment in order for an account to remain current. All outstanding returned check fees must be paid prior to sailing. If a guest has two returned checks within a 12 month period, checks will no longer be accepted and the guest will need to provide an alternate form of payment.
All guests must be paid in full in order for a cabin to be considered paid in full. If any occupant to a cabin remains unpaid, the cabin will be re-priced based on the remaining occupants. If an occupant cancels, the cabin will be re-priced and all remaining occupants’ balances will be re-calculated. Guests may identify a room mate to replace the canceling occupant and this will not alter the occupant’s original stated cabin price.
While the Tom Joyner Foundation will make every effort to honor the published itinerary, events may occur that are outside our control. Therefore, you must understand that the cruise itinerary is subject to change. Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances; refunds for cancellations will only be made in accordance with the above policy. You are advised to purchase travel insurance to protect your travel investment. |
