What kinds of payment will be accepted?
For registration, only credit cards and mailed checks will be accepted.
Is air transportation included in the cost of any of the packages?
No, airfare is not included in the package prices. Transportation from your home to Orlando is your responsibility.
What is not included in the Family Reunion Package?
- Airfare or transportation from your home to Orlando, Florida
- Meals or snacks other than those listed as included in the package
- Merchandise
- Hotels incidentals and purchases
- Trip cancellation insurance
What are my payment options?
Reservations may be held with a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. Full payment MUST be posted by June 30th to secure the reservation. If you would like to pay your balance with a different card (2nd card), please give that information at the time of your reservation or make arrangements by June 30th.
Is trip cancellation insurance available?
We do not offer cancellation insurance with any of our packages. You should check with your airline or credit card companies.
There are a lot of resort properties in Orlando. Which is the host resort?
Gaylord Palms® Resort & Convention Center is the official host hotel for the 2008 Tom Joyner Family Reunion® Presented by Allstate.
Can I get Internet access in my guestroom?
Each guestroom is equipped with a computer and Gaylord iConnect.SM
Are tips or gratuities included in my package?
You do not have to tip on meals and services at Tom Joyner themed events on the host property, but please use your own discretion with other meals and activities that are not included in your package.
Are minors welcome to this event?
Of course! Tom welcomes children of all ages to come and be part of the fun. The event is designed for the whole family, and we offer something for everyone. For example, a package for a family of four would include the following:
• One (1) guest room for three (3) nights at Gaylord Palms® Resort &Convention Center
• Theme park tickets for each person:
- Friday: SeaWorld’s Aquatica Waterpark with private show Shamu Show at SeaWorld.
- Saturday: Universal Orlando® (both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios)
- Sunday: Walt Disney World® (one theme park)
Admission for everyone in Sunday Morning Gospel Explosion
• Admission to the Family Reunion daily activities and evening functions for each person
• Select meals
• Admission for everyone in Sunday Morning Explosion
• Transportation to and from the family reunion events at designated times

Included in your package are *five meals: two breakfasts, one BBQ and two dinners. The host resort offers a full array of room service, quick service and fine dining options (Only applicable to guests with 5 day/4 night packages.
