For the 8th year in a row, we are asking people to be a part of Tom Joyner’s Take A Loved One To The Doctor Day. Your participation proves that it is important to, not only to take care of ourselves, but also, those that we love. Every year has been a total success and this year we are expecting nothing different. In his book, “I’m Just a DJ But… It Makes Sense to Me,” Tom Joyner mentions the importance of Take A Loved One To The Doctor Day: “Getting black people to become more proactive about their health is the goal of “Take A Loved One To The Doctor Day”… My son learned he had diabetes at our first Doctor Day and other members of our morning crew discovered ailments they didn’t know they had.”
