I am PROUD of both of these men--the good reverend and our good president!!! Their varied point of views, are not only angled paraelled, but, also compliment and supplement each other;in due time,at the right time, both of these men,WILL do a '360',and PUBLICLY acknowledge their 'meeting of the minds'!!!!
White people always like to try to tell black folks what to do or how to think. This is just a bunch of BS by Wollfe to sell his book. Obama betrayed Rev Wright when he did not show any backbone and stood up to the media, as well as buying into the media hype by leaving his church. I did not see Palin leaving her church or McCain when it was discovered they had some questionable meetings with certain right wing religious leaders. Black folks always let white folks tell them how and what to think about their leaders...
You can always trust that White folks will remain true to their game: divide, conquer, and profit. Unfortunately, we are the first ones to fall for the okedoke. How the hell does Wollfe know what they said "in private." Did he have a glass up to the wall listening? You can bet he'll make plenty of money of this lying-a#@ book! Rev. Wright spoke nothing but the truth just like Michelle did when she truthfully acknowledged that this was the first time that she could truly say that she was proud to be an American...or did we forget she said that?
I believe the chess game was in Mr. Wright's hand and he lost the game. Who would trust him now?
Obama is a diplomat. I am certain he met in private to let Mr. Wright know he disagreed with his views. Dipolmats are taught to praise in public and criticize in private
