Janet Jackson is reportedly spending thousands of dollars to make Christmas extra special for her late brother Michael's children, who are spending their first Yuletide season together since the death of their father exactly six months ago.

"She must have spent thousands on trees, decorations and the kind of toys Michael would have love to be fooling around with on Christmas morning," a source told Absolute Now.

The actress, the youngest of the Jackson clan, intends to spoil her niece Paris, 12 and nephews Prince Michael I, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, a.k.a. Blanket.

"It was to be a quiet, somber holiday this year, but Janet has stepped in to make it just like Michael did - fun. Michael loved Christmas. He was like a big kid, and now Janet has taken that on."

I thought about that for a minute, but i said to my cuz, i wonder what are they gonna do for the kids this christmas. I know Mama Jackson doesn't celebrate it so those kids are gonna have a horrible first christmas without daddy. When they start not getting b-day gifts, no new easter dress/suit, they'll get the point

Too bad Janet did not think about donating some of those thousands of dollars to toys for tots or some other charitable orginization to help out some less fortunate children. I have no problem with her giving the children a nice Christmas, but there was no need to go over the top. I am sure they pretty much have everything they could possibly want or need. Nothing but time, if that, will take away the sting of losing the man they knew as their "father" even though we are all aware these are white children. They were his children legally, none the less.

She needs to get the white kids their real daddy back. Michael Jackson did not father those kids. Ask Katt Williams bout that! Lol!!

I know that mother jackson does not beleive in Christmas, but would it not have been nice with all the money she gets for the children, that she with the rest of the family should have pulled together to make this Christmas, if not any others special for the kids? Way to go Janet, I wished that experience of Christmas for the children would have been shared with the fans, at least some pictures.
