Wendy Raquel Robinson (left) and Rick Fox share a scene in Season Three of "The Game," which is reportedly returning.

If you’ve watched any BET lately, you might have noticed that “The Game” is showing up all over the channel. Hopefully, this means that the network is on track to start producing and airing new episodes of the popular, defunct series next year. According to several sources - including members of the show’s cast - production has begun in Atlanta. So Tasha Mack, Melanie, Derwin, Malik, Kelly and Jason should all be back when the show resumes on BET in 2010.

After the Season Three finale on “The Game’s” last network, the CW, fans were left wondering what was next for their favorite characters. We decided to play show runner (since Mara Brock Akil, the show’s creator, is now busy on ABC’s “Cougar Town”) and come up with some scenarios for our favorite folks on the show as they get ready to broadcast their fourth season.

TASHA MACK (Wendy Raquel Robinson)

When last we saw Tasha, she was having a reunion with Rick Fox, who seems to be the closest thing she’s had in  years to a real love. However, things can’t be smooth and happy between the couple. In Season Four, Rick will reveal his long-hidden desire to become a father again, and Tasha will attempt to make it happen. The hormones she’s taking to get pregnant will make her already-tempestuous personality even more volatile, while her son, Malik, already reeling from finding out he has a half-sister, starts feeling left out. This will impact Tasha's work life as well, as the hormones sometimes take her mood from ultra mean to easygoing to tearful, confusing her clients and colleagues. Her relationship with Rick is obviously impacted as Tasha’s hormonal changes, unsuccessful pregnancy attempts and her son’s resentment are all things he has to contend with.

KELLY PITTS (Brittany Daniel)

Kelly is still distraught over Jason’s new relationship with Camille (Stacey Dash), but has decided to move on. Her daughter, Brittany, following in her father’s athletic footsteps, decides to play basketball. At one of Brittany’s games, Kelly meets another parent, Daniel Graham, played by Michael Jai White, a former football player himself. The two bond over their kids and start dating. When Jason and Camille start coming to games, Kelly finds that she and Jason are uniting through their shared love of their daughter, who is turning out to be a great basketball player. Michael Jai White’s ex-wife, Tracey, played by Golden Brooks, shows up to a game and snubs Kelly. She tells her ex later that she’s not happy with her daughter seeing her father with a white woman. He starts to have second thoughts about the relationship, as he doesn’t want his daughter to think that he prefers white women. Kelly is oblivious to all this and inadvertently says something about working with Tasha that makes her new beau suspicious that she’s unconsciously racist.

JASON PITTS (Coby Bell)

Jason is feeling his new girlfriend, Camille, until he finds out how much she spends on personal grooming, clothing and spas. However, once she tells him that her network pays for it, and she can write most of it off, he feels better. But now that his Brittany is playing basketball and doing well, he finds himself bonding with Kelly at the games, despite her new relationship. Camille, however, starts to feel left out of the equation and tells Jason she thinks he’s using time with his daughter as an excuse to bond again with his soon-to-be ex-wife. He lets her know that his daughter is the priority, and Camille feels like .....
