Jennifer Hudson Talks About Her New Baby Boy

Jennifer Hudson just can't say enough about her newborn son.

"He's the cutest thing in the world!" she told People.com of little David Daniel Otunga Jr., born Aug. 10. "There are no words for it. He's the best. It's just amazing – us discovering each other, me becoming a mom."

The Grammy winner is performing with Julianne Hough in New York's Central Park Tuesday night for "The Wizard of Oz" Netflix concert, where Hudson, 27, paid tribute to the 1939 film's classic songs with a contemporary interpretation of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

Hudson says it appears that little David, her first child with fiancé David Otunga, may be following in his mom's footsteps.

"He seems like he's very interested in music already. The other night he was having a fit screaming, and someone turns on the music and he just stops and calms down. And I was exactly the same way as a baby," said Hudson, who played "Let It Be Me," her collaboration with Rod Stewart, to calm her son. "Sometimes when he cries, I try to harmonize!"

While Hudson lost her mother amid tragic circumstances last year, "I think she was a great example of being a mother, so when [my son] first got home, I was like, 'Everything I do will be out of love,'" said Hudson. "That's what drives me in the middle of the night when I'm knocked out sleeping and he wakes up."

With the holidays coming up, Hudson is eager to share them with the newest family addition.

"It's going to be ridiculous. I can't wait," she gushed. "His dad went and bought him some Halloween stuff the other night. I wish he was older so he could remember it, but this is the first one, so I have to go all out. It's going to be great."

To say that two people who are engaged and have a bad need to get married is not being judgmental. THEY DO NEED TO GET MARRIED. If you're already engaged, what's the problem. THEY'RE ENGAGED. JUST GET MARRIED ALREADY. SERIOUSLY. JUST GET MARRIED.

People please! No one is perfect except the Father of us all. Stop judging others and focus on cleaning up your own house. She is not the first, nor will she be the last single mother in this world. She will have to answer for what she does as will we, so let her be happy with her choices if that is what she wants. I am happy to see her happy!
